If you happened to visit a German fair, I am very sure that you had already seen Lebkuchenherzen. It is called Gingerbread Hearts in English. By the name itself, you can already figure out that it has a heart-shaped form. Whether you are visiting the famous Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, the carnival in Cologne, the Canstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart or any other fair and celebration in Germany, don't forget to try these famous Lebkuchenherzen.
They range in size from small saucers to large platters and are strung with a ribbon for easy wearing. Some sweet words are also engraved in these sweeties.
