Notre Dame in Paris, France

This is the Notre Dame de Paris, also known as Our Lady of Paris. It is a cathedral in Paris, France with French Gothic architecture. Its construction begun in 1163 and was said to be completed in 1345. It is known to be one of the first buildings in the world that use the the flying buttress or the arched exterior supports. It was said to be saved and restored by France's most famous architect named Eugène Viollet-le-Duc.

Notre Dame means Our Lady. I knew this since I am also a Notre Damian graduate and this is always taught in school. This was taken during my second visit in Paris last August 2010.
